Marriage Classroom was born out of decades of counseling couples who felt stuck — not because they didn’t love each other, but because they didn’t know how to love each other deeply.

Maurice, AKA "Pastor Mo," saw it everywhere: couples surviving in silence, marriages functioning like business partnerships, husbands and wives talking but never truly hearing one another.

So, he created a safe, spiritual, and practical space where couples could finally slow down and learn the language of their covenant — together.

Because, as he often says, “when you learn your spouse, you graduate from confusion to connection.”

As Campus Pastor of New Beginnings Fellowship Church – West Campus, Pastor Mo has coached and counseled couples for over 15 years—from fresh newlyweds laying their foundation, to long-time partners doing demo work, to those standing on the lot, blueprint in hand, wondering if they’re ready to break ground on this mansion called marriage.

In Building the Mansion Called Marriage, he brings wisdom, humor, biblical truth, and real-life grit to help couples do more than just survive under the same roof—he helps them build a home where love, faith, and growth can thrive.

Maurice and Turae don’t pretend to have it all figured out—they’re just one couple among many, committed to growing, changing, and helping others do the same.
